Marija Turkovic joined the Law School of the University of Mannheim as a lecturer and doctoral research fellow in 2016. She previously studied in Germany as a DAAD scholarship holder and obtained her LL.M. degree in European and International Law from the Europa Institut, Saarland University. Before joining the University of Mannheim Ms Turkovic was a research fellow at the Department of Civil Law, Economic Law and Intellectual Property, University of Technology in Kaiserslautern and worked on a research supported by the German Federal Environmental Foundation.

Ms Turkovic’s principal teaching and research interests lie in the fields of energy law (particularly energy markets and renewable energy law) and external relations of the European Union. She is the author of several research papers concerning environmental technology innovations and renewable energy policy development.

Raphael Oidtmann is a research fellow and lecturer at the Law School of the University of Mannheim. He earned an M.A. in political sciences, business administration and public law from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and a Master of Comparative Law (M.C.L.) from the universities of Mannheim and Adelaide, Australia. He is an alumnus of the Hague Academy of International Law and a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies (CCCS) at the University of Melbourne. 

He is a member of several professional associations, including the European Society of International Law, and has published several scholarly articles on topics relating to both international law and international relations. 
His current research interests comprise public international law, international criminal law, law of armed conflict, international organisations and international relations theory.
