Prof. Dr. Jens-Uwe Franck, LL.M. (Yale)

Jens-Uwe Franck holds the Professorship for Civil Law, Commercial Law and Competition Law. As part of the LL.B. Program he teaches, inter alia, courses on consumer protection law as well as on competition law. Moreover, he teaches the course on the European Market Freedoms as part of the M.C.B.L. degree and on Comparative Competition Law as part of the master’s degree in Competition and Regulation.

Jens-Uwe Franck has been appointed as Non-Governmental Advisor for the German Federal Cartel Office within the International Competition Network (ICN).

Research focus

While his research focus is on competition law, research projects regularly focus on cross-cutting issues and therefore also concern banking law and securities regulation as well as consumer protection law.
