Doctoral Degree

At the Chair of Civil Law, German and European Business and Labour Law you have the opportunity to do a doctorate. Preferably you can gain your doctoal degree on the following topics:

• Civil Law
• German and European Business Law, specially legal basics of the economic consitution, the Law of the Internal Market and Competition Law as well as the Law of the European Monetary Union
• German and European Labour Law
• Bans on discriminations and duties of equal treatment

The chair has the objective to specially encourage female doctoral candidates to achieve gender equality.

Please check if you fulfil the requirements of the doctoral degree regulations of the University of Mannheim before sending us a written request. Your request should include a CV and make clear why you are motivated to gain a doctoral degree. Furthermore you should point out your main interests and reason them.
